{"id":1026,"date":"2020-08-04T22:19:53","date_gmt":"2020-08-04T19:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.balimare.gr\/?page_id=1026"},"modified":"2020-08-04T22:20:22","modified_gmt":"2020-08-04T19:20:22","slug":"covid-19","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/balimare.gr\/index.php\/covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When guests check into our hotel over the next few months, they will notice a number of alterations-additions to the hotel\u2019s operation, which are designed to minimize risk and enhance safety for our guests and staff.<\/p>\n<p>The enhanced measures which our Hotel is implementing, in compliance with the mandatory criteria and extra recommendations of Greece\u2019s Hotel Safety Protocols, include the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team members (staff) Training<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training on COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols to all employees<\/li>\n<li>Informative posters throughout the staff areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Protective Equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provision of personal protective equipment to all employees<\/li>\n<li>Hand sanitizing stations for our guests and staff around public areas<\/li>\n<li>Regular thermal controls are done to all employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Physical distance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Floor signage and informative posters for physical distance<\/li>\n<li>Proper arrangement of restaurant, bar and lounge tables to ensure appropriate distancing<\/li>\n<li>We inform according to the new operating protocols that hotel guests are only allowed to enter the rooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management of a suspected case<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our hotel cooperates with a doctor specially trained in the management of COVID-19 cases and has prepared a comprehensive action plan for the management of a possible suspected case, with respect to the personality and privacy of our customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleaning and disinfection protocols<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The hotel has chosen approved for use disinfectants effective against bacteria and viruses and appropriate for SARS- CoV-2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guest rooms<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols are used to clean guest rooms with attention to high touched surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Steam cleaners for the disinfection of fabric surfaces<\/li>\n<li>All decorative items are suspended<\/li>\n<li>The daily cleaning is temporarily suspended<\/li>\n<li>Mini Bars are suspended and for the moment can be used as a mini fridge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Public areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increased frequency of disinfection of all public areas and staff areas with attention to high touched surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Steam cleaners for the disinfection of fabric surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Dining tables, bar stools, chairs etc\u00a0disinfected after each use<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation to all guests the usage of their in-room WC<\/li>\n<li>Air Conditioning Cleaning, according to governmental protocols<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Front office desk<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check out time: 11h00 \/ Check in time: 15h00<\/li>\n<li>Guests personal data (address, telephone number, email) during check in, for public health protection and the possible need of tracing<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate floor signage for physical distancing<\/li>\n<li>All key cards disinfected prior use<\/li>\n<li>POS terminals disinfected after guest use<\/li>\n<li>Working surfaces &amp; shared Equipment disinfected regularly<\/li>\n<li>A complete medical kit available at the reception<\/li>\n<li>Guests are informed for the services that are officially suspended or altered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Restaurant services<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A hand disinfection stands in the restaurant entrance<\/li>\n<li>The buffet will be served only by our team members<\/li>\n<li>Set up of table is completed upon guest\u2019s arrival<\/li>\n<li>When possible, individual packaged serving items are used<\/li>\n<li>Tables are arranged with appropriate physical distancing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Food Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At our hotel, food handlers and supervisors are trained on safe food preparation and service practice according to HACCP principles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suppliers of goods &amp;
